The springless, direct-drive Steel Ranger™ 9500 LS is an effective replacement for outdated rolling steel doors on door openings with no need for high speed, but with high-cycles daily. This door allows a cost-effective way to match the aesthetic of it’s high-speed counterparts. Activation is with a constant contact push button, and opening speed is 8 inches per second.

Exclusive Decotherm steel slats

Strong and durable, insulated Decotherm^® steel panel slats are constructed of a polyurethane core, covered with a steel skin that is covered with a zinc coating, a base coating, and a top / finish coating. For custom requirements, options include any classic RAL color as well as a choice of vision slats in clear or ventilated.

Powerful Direct-Drive Motor for Dependable Performance

An effective solution for interior or exterior door openings, a powerful direct-drive operator may be mounted either vertically or horizontally as standard. This flexible mounting configuration accommodates applications with unusual sideroom requirements. If an optional hood required, the operator mounting direction will be required at order placement.

Optional Light Curtain Protects and Minimizes Downtime

Personnel and materials are protected by virtue of the standard light curtain. Positioned on the low-profile guide tracks, light beams shine across the opening, and if a beam is interrupted, the door automatically reverses. In addition to protecting pedestrians and materials from contact with the door, this system reduces the likelihood of damage to the door, which saves on maintenance costs and downtime.
