Windbar for Panel Stability

As an economical solution for larger door openings, the Speed-Master^® 1600 XL comes with a 58 oz. / sq. yd. material and sectional panel design.  An aluminum windbar provides panel stability, and a bottom bar with breakaway tabs breaks out of the guide tracks upon accidental impact.  Windbar windlocks are optional for applications that require added wind resistance.

Breakaway Bottom Bar Minimizes Downtime

Our breakaway bottom bar breaks away upon impact.  The door may be quickly reset so the door is up and running with minimal downtime.

Light Curtain Protects and Saves on Maintenance Costs

Personnel and materials are protected by virtue of the standard light curtain.  Positioned inside the low-profile guide tracks, light beams shine across the opening.  If a beam is interrupted, the door automatically reverses.  In addition to protecting pedestrians and materials from contact with the door, this system reduces the likelihood of damage to the door, which saves on maintenance costs and downtime.  Ask about additional safety accessories available to enhance protection of pedestrians and vehicles:  LED Lite Advance, advanced technology motion detectors, and more.

Optional UPS Emergency Battery Pack

For convenience during a power outage, rather than having to manually open the door, the battery back-up automatically opens the door once.  To ensure reliable performance, when the battery is low, an alarm sounds signaling time for replacement.  For the Speed-Master^® 1600 L¹⁹, this is only available for door openings up to 10’0″ wide x 10’0″ high.

Widescan Laser Sensor

The Widescan sensor uses laser technology, based on analysis of time of flight. It creates a volumetric area in front of the door opening by generating seven angled laser curtains, and it detects objects based on object size, height, speed, and direction.  One device alone carries out three functions: opening the door, area surveillance and safety.  More than just a sensor, it becomes a protective mechanism for the door and the user.  The Widescan may also be programmed to function as a virtual pull cord.  A mobile app is available to easily configure sensor settings from the ground.

Remote Keypad

Performs control box functions from ground level.  More and more installations require that the door control box is installed out of the reach of passersby or completely away from the door in a central location.  For these types of applications, our remote keypad is the ideal accessory.  It allows for the actual door control box to be remotely installed while still having the ability to operate all control functions through a compact, 3” x 5-½” keypad at ground level.

LED Lite Advance

Designed to increase environmental awareness, the LED Lite Advance is bright LED light strips that are attached to the guide tracks or hood for an additional level of safety around the door opening.  Easy to install on new or existing doors, lites are solid red when the door is down, flashing red when in motion, and solid green when completely open.

IS40 Motion + Presence Detection

Effectively accommodate motion and presence with the IS40.  A rugged IP65 rated enclosure stands up to harsh environments, while bidirectional, unidirectional approach, and unidirectional depart microwave detection options help conserve energy.  Six modes of detection filtering are available, as well as pedestrian and parallel traffic rejection.

Our highly visible warning light provides a visual warning that the door is in motion, so traffic approaches the door with caution.

Warning Light with Horn

A warning light with a horn is an option for extremely busy locations where an added level of awareness is desired.

Custom Panel Imprints

Custom panel prints make a big impression.  Logos, pictures, and text may be digitally printed onto our Speed-Master^® and Speed-Commander™ door panels. The images are durable, UV treated and waterproof.  Maximum image size is 7’0” wide x 3’0” high.

Radar / Motion Detector

Remote Control

• Effective at a range of up to 60 feet.

• Transmitters are available to activate up to 27 doors with one transmitter.

• Sterile alternative to manual activation devices.
